Russian/Eurasian grants available

     The NAFSA Association of International Educators is administering a
Russia/Eurasia (REAP) Awards Program to provide grants up to $10,000 for an
estimated 140 students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Byelarus, Georgia,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine
and Uzbekistan. Graduate and upper-division (junior and senior)
undergraduate students beginning or continuing matriculation at an
accredited U.S. college or university in the 1993-94 academic year are
eligible. Students not currently in the United States will be given
priority. Participating students must be studying in one of the following
fields: public administration, public policy, political science, urban
planning, economics, business, marketing, law, education, journalism,
social sciences, humanities, library science, English teaching, computer
science, agricultural science and transportation. Grant funds may be used
for students' transportation, room, board and other expenses not covered by
the institution's aid package. Funds may not be used for tuition.
     Application deadline is May 14, and must be completed by the host
