Phyllis Schlafly in Smith April 15
Conservative speaker Phyllis Schlafly will present a lecture entitled,
"Would you want to be a feminist, or marry one?," at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday,
April 14, in 130 Smith Hall.
Schlafly is a syndicated columnist, radio commentator and president of
Eagle Forum, a national conservative, pro-family organization. In addition,
she is a leading critic of feminism in America and author of the
best-selling A Choice Not an Echo, one of the top-10 conservative books of
all time.
The event, sponsored by the Young Americans for Freedom, College
Republicans, Eagle Forum Collegians and Students for Life, is free and open
to the public. It will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
