'Storm of the century' brings a flurry of work

The entire University community extends a special thank you to the
countless number of individuals who are contributing so much expertise and
energy to the cleaning up and making safe of our campus for students and
employees, in the wake of the massive weekend storm. Your diligence and
commitment remind us of the vital importance of individual contributions to
the smooth functioning of our community.
I welcome this opportunity to say to all of you-and you know who you
are-from grounds crews, to custodians, to dining service workers, to Public
Safety personnel, to others too numerous to mention: A grateful University
of Delaware says thank you for your efforts. Well done!
And, remember, it's only two days until the first day of spring!
