Free Beckman rotor inspection

     Beckman Instruments Inc. has offered to inspect, free of charge and on
site, all Beckman Series J and L ultracentrifuge rotors at the University
for stress corrosion, metal fatigue and damage to anodized coatings.
     This program has identified unsafe rotors prior to failure at other
universities.
     If there is sufficient interest from the campus research community,
the Department of Occupational Health and Safety will make arrangements
with Beckman Instruments for the inspections.

below and return it by Feb. 26 to occupational health and safety.
