Campus employee fitness programs
A number of employee fitness programs are available throughout
the year. For information on any of the following, call 831-1437.
Employee Fitness Center (EFC): All University employees, retirees and
spouses are eligible to take advantage of the programs offered.
Exercise is conducted on a variety of cardiovascular and
resistance-type equipment in an air-conditioned environment. The
center is supervised by a full-time fitness specialist and a graduate
assistant. Fitness testing, exercise prescription and programs for all
fitness needs are offered. Call 831-1437 to schedule an introductory
orientation or to obtain further information.

Fall hours:
Monday/Wednesday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Tuesday/Thursday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Saturday 1- 4 p.m.
(Closed on home football game days)
Strength and Conditioning Room (SCR): This site is designed to help
individuals improve muscular strength by training with free weights
and resistance machines. Learn proper weight-lifting techniques and
weight room etiquette at an orientation required for all potential
participants. Open to all EFC members and students. Students should
call 831-1580 and employees should call 831-1437 for an orientation
appointment.

Monday/Wednesday noon - 4 p.m.
5 - 7:45 p.m.
Tuesday/Thursday noon-7 p.m.
Friday noon - 4 p.m.
5- 6:45 p.m.
Saturday 2-4 p.m.
Student Fitness Center; Cardiovascular Room (CVR): Participants can
improve their cardiovascular endurance and body composition through
exercise in this area on state-of-the-art aerobic equipment. An
introductory orientation is required before use Further appointments
may be scheduled for fitness testing, body composition measurement and
personal consultations. Center is open to all full-time students. Call
831-1580 for information. Fall hours begin Sept.14.
