Friday series to offer career info
Information about career development will be presented from 11:45
a.m.-1:30 p.m., every Friday during March in the Collins Room of the
Perkins Student Center.
The following presentations are scheduled as part of the "Fridays with
Your Future" program:
* Career Development at the University of Delaware-An overview of
the Career Resources Center, with panel discussions by
individuals who have used the center's services, March 5;
* What is Your Preference?- ACCESS Center staff will lead this
session, featuring an exercise to determinine individual likes,
dislikes and skills and their influences in finding rewarding
employment, March 12;
* Resumes-Participants should bring a current resume to be
critiqued. Tips on good resume writing and a checklist will be
provided. March 19; and
* Jobs in Academia-Current positions and a forecast for future needs
in adacemic work settings will be explored, March 26.
Participants should bring lunch. Beverage and dessert will be
provided. Registration will be accepted for an individual presentation or
for the entire series. Advance registration is required by the Friday of
the week prior to each session.
