'Employee of week'

     Flowers, fun and festivities- including dinner and a comedy show at a
Wilmington restaurant with a group of friends-crowned the reign of Patricia
Balthis, executive secretary of employee relations, as radio station WJBR's
Employee of the Week in early January.  She was nominated by Harriet Frank,
administrative assistant in affirmative action and multicultural programs,
who recalls how pleasant and helpful Balthis was when Frank applied for
employment at the University a few years ago.  "She is a good representative
of the University and makes everyone feel at ease, and I felt she deserved
recognition," Frank said.
