     Robert Schweitzer, finance, is serving as senior vice president and
     program chair for Southern Finance Association in 1993.
 
     Elizabeth Bertera, individual and family studies, is a member of the
     advisory board, Delaware United Negro College Fund, and of the board
     of directors, Methodist Action Program, Wilmington. She also served on
     the Delaware AIDS Education Panel Review.
 
     Harold "Tubby" Raymond, physical education, athletics and recreation,
     was named Kodak University Division I-AA Region 1 Coach of the Year.
 
     Robert R. Jordan, Delaware Geological Survey, will receive an honorary
     membership award from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists
     in April for outstanding contributions to the understanding of the
     geology of the Atlantic coastal province and for his leadership in
     public policy.
 
     Karl W. Boer, physics and material science, mentioned as a solar
     pioneer, along with Morton Prince of U.S. Department of Energy and
     Richard Bube of Stanford University, in conference news of 11th
     European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference.
 
     Frank B. Murray, H. Rodney Sharp Professor of Educational Studies,
     elected president of Project 30 Alliance, a consortium of arts and
     science and education faculty.
