New MIS program for health services

     Management Information Services (MIS) has developed a new computer
application that allows for Student Health Services to track student
immunization records.
     The program ensures compliance with a Delaware Department of Public
Health mandate requiring University students born after 1957 to be
immunized against measles, mumps and rubella.
     If the mandate is not met, a student's registration will be delayed.
     Sue Cover and Herb Brunswick of MIS developed and implemented the
system, which was tested last spring and is in use this semester.
