Association of retired faculty publishes tenth newsletter

The University of Delaware Association of Retired Faculty (UDARF)
published its 10th newsletter this fall, and editor Edward H.
Rosenberry says, the newsletter, the official voice,"is settling into
a tradition, or at least a habit."
As members go through their "common, yet diverse, venture of
retirement," according to Rosenberry, the newsletter gives
information on UDARF activities and the scholarly activities and
publications of members. All members are invited to serve as
reporters.
On Oct. 6, a luncheon meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. in
Clayton Hall, with James K. Oliver, professor of political science and
international relations, speaking on "American Foreign Policy in the
New World Order."
Then, beginning Oct. 13, when the Center for Teaching
Effectiveness will present an informal program, brown-bag lunches will
be held at 11:45 a.m. in the Read Room of the Perkins Student Center
on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.
UDARF officers are Irvin Wisniewski, chairperson; Thomas
Brockenbrough, vice chairperson; Robert L. Salsbury, secretary; Ralph
C. Staiger, treasurer; and Franklin C. Daiber, director.
The association is quartered at 400 Academy Building.
