Additional health care coverage

     Dear Colleague:                                                 
     I am pleased to announce that catastrophic health care coverage 
has been expanded to a lifetime maximum of two million dollars for all        
employees who participate in the University of Delaware's health care
program.  In addition, participating employees carrying family or    
subscriber and child coverage may have their dependents covered at a 
cost of one dollar per month for each dependent.                     
     The Benefits Office will be sending materials to eligible       
employees concerning the enrollment of dependents in the University's
expanded catastrophic major  medical program. Should you have        
questions concerning dependent coverage, please call the Benefits    
Office at extension 2913.
