Distinguished service

     John P. Zikakis, professor emeritus of animal science and
agricultural biochemistry, was awarded the Distinguished Service
Award by the American Chemical Society, Division of Agricultural
and Food Chemistry. Zikakis was recognized at the Chemical Congress
of North America banquet and the American Chemical Society national
meeting in New York City Aug. 27.
