ID, points ensure UDine
For breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-betweens, UDine is a new,
convenient program for University employees, a pay-now, dine-later
plan, with no membership fee or charges.
All it takes is a minimum payment of $20 to buy UD points,
which can be used at dining facilities, snack bars and food carts
across campus. The amount can be deducted from paychecks or paid by
check.
A UDiner presents a University of Delaware ID card and the
amount spent is automatically deducted from his or her points, with
the balance displayed by the ID card reader.
In addition, there is a $5 bonus in UD points for those
signing up by Sept. 30, and a 5 percent bonus is automatically
added to each account every time a UDiner purchases food points.
Locations honoring the UDine plan are
* The Student Center (the Center Court, the Scrounge,
the Outdoor Cafe, the Faculty Dining Room and Board Room),
* Harrington, Russell and Kent dining halls (one
price, all-you-can-eat cafeteria)
* Daugherty Hall (the Abbey, the Grille, Ice Cream Parlor)
* Rodney Dining Hall (one price, all-you-can-eat cafeteria
and the Underground)
* Pencader Dining Hall (one price, all-you-can-eat
facility, the Amber Lantern Restaurant and the Upper Deck)
* Smith and Graham Halls (food carts)
* Blue Ice Arena (snack bar)
