Employee Development and Training
UNIX news group on University line

     UNIX users may read Employee Development workshop descriptions by
subscribing to the news group udel.employee. development. This news
group was set up as part of Employee Development's continuing efforts
to utilize the University's computing systems' capabilities. All
University employees are eligible for a UNIX account, activated at
Smith Hall, by using their employee ID. Employees with UNIX accounts
should send registration requests to the MVS ID EmplDevReg@mvs.udel.edu.
     The UNIX posting joins the EMC2 bulletin board launched this past
spring. EMC2 users may register for workshops by mailing the "useform"
posted on the Employee-Development bulletin board. For both systems,
include in the message the name of the workshop, date of workshop,
employee's name, department, phone extension and name of supervisor.
Employees with questions about subscribing, tracking or mailing
electronic messages, should contact their  computer resource person.
