     James Kolodzey, electrical engineering, appointed a member of the

     Arlette I. Rasmussen, nutrition and dietetics, served as a
     reviewer to assess the Department of Food Science and Nutrition
     Programs at the University of Rhode Island in Providence, March
     29-April 1.

     The Delaware Football Brochure was named the best in the nation
     in Division IAA. The publication was produced by the Sports
     Information staff of Scott Selheimer, Benjamin Sherman and Brian
     Logue. Award was presented at the annual College Sports
     Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) annual convention in
     July in Lexington, Ky.

     Sylvia Farnham-Diggory, educational studies, an additional

     funds awarded to $186,270.

     Thomas K. Gaisser, with Gary P. Zank, Bartol Research Institute,
     $12,463 from National Science Foundation, for "Particle
     Acceleration in Cosmic Plasmas"; Thomas K. Gaisser, $149,000 for
     "South Pole Air Shower Experiment for Gamma Ray Astronomy at
