Bridge to engineering education

FAME (Forum to Advance Minorities in Engineering) students Tony
Huang (left) from McKean High School and Jamie Wise from Wilmington
High School put finishing touches on a model wooden bridge, one of
their class projects for the program. Begun in 1977, FAME is
designed for minority students who have demonstrated abilities in
science and math and have a high overall average. This summer, 86
Delaware high school students participated in the on-campus,
residential program from June 21-July 24.
