Welcome aboard

     Christopher S. Beck, Delaware '80, became the University's chief
investment officer July 1. He formerly was vice president and director
of research at Cypress Capital Management and an investment officer at
Wilmington Trust. Beck was awarded the chartered financial analyst
(CFA) designation and earned his MBA at Lehigh University in 1981. His
wife, Mary Jane, also is a U.D. graduate, having earned her bachelor's
degree from the College of Nursing in 1980.
