Marine studies tours
One-hour guided tours of the College of Marine Studies complex in
Lewes started July 1. The free tours begin with a slide presentation,
followed by a walking tour, and will be available between 10 a.m.-4
p.m. to groups of up to 20 people, junior high school age or older.
Reservations must be made at least two days in advance by calling
645-4346.
1992 football tickets
Applications for football season tickets are now available for
faculty and staff. The cost of the tickets may be paid through payroll
deduction. For more information, call 831-2257.
Text 'buy backs'
The University Bookstore will be buying back summer textbooks
from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., July 10, 13, 30-31 and Aug. 13-14 in the
Student Center Concourse, unless otherwise posted.
Out/Right to meet
Out/Right, the Gay and Lesbian Academic Coalition, will hold its
second meeting at 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 17, at 913 Rockmoss Ave. in
Newark.
Gay and lesbian faculty and staff are invited to attend and to
bring other gay and lesbian colleagues from the University.

Coastal symposium
The College of Marine Studies and the Delaware Department of
Natural Resources and Environmental Control will sponsor a symposium
honoring the 20th anniversary of coastal zone management. A
distinguished panel of speakers will be featured. The symposium will
be held from 9 a.m. -4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Gold Ballroom
of the Hotel du Pont. The cost is $30. Reservation deadline is July
31.

'Messenger' on-line
Employees with access to on-line communication through individual
PCs are now able to access the University's alumni publication, The
Messenger on UD Info. The Messenger joins other University
publications, such as UpDate, The Review, Computing News and Research
Bulletin.
