Summer lap swimming will be held at Carpenter's indoor pool

     Through the cooperation of the Division of Recreation, College of
Physical Education, Athletics and Recreation, the Carpenter Sports
Building indoor pool again will be available for distance or "lap"
swimming through Aug. 28. Hours will be noon-1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. every
weekday.
     Use of the indoor pool is contingent upon the presence of
University-approved, certified lifeguards. The pool will be available
only to those individuals normally eligible to use University athletic
facilities and who have paid a fee of $45.
     This higher fee reflects increased costs for pool supervision
mandated by the Delaware State Board of Health. This fee is distinct
from any payment made for use of the outdoor pool.
