Psychology gets grant
The Department of Psychology has received a National Science
Foundation (NSF) Incentives for Excellence Scholarship Prize of
$1,000, given in recognition of Raquel S. Olguin, a University
graduate who recently was awarded an NSF Graduate Fellowship in
developmental psychology.
The scholarship prize is to be used to increase opportunities for
outstanding underrepresented minority students to pursue advanced
study.
The prize will be given by the department to one or two qualified
undergraduates to recognze their scholastic excellence and encourage
their continued study.
