Intracorp reviews medical services
Intracorp administers the medical services review component of
the traditional plans: Basic, Basic Plus and Comprehensive.
All hospital stays must be approved prior to admission with
continued review during the length of stay. Emergency hospitalizations
must be reported within 48 hours.
Effective July 1, you are required to call Intracorp at least 72
hours in advance when you have any of the following seven procedures
performed on a non-emergency basis.
* Arthroscopy
* Spinal procedures
* Varicose veins
* Hysterectomy
* Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
* Total joint replacement/ reconstruction
* Caesarean section (C-section)
