Library Associates' annual dinner April 29

     Stanley I. Kutler, professor and author, will discuss "Watergate as
History: 20 Years Later" at the 1992 University of Delaware Library
Associates annual dinner, beginning at 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, in the
Buxbaum Room of Arsht Hall, at the University's Wilmington campus on
Pennsylvania Avenue.
     Kutler, E. Gordon Fox Professor of American Institutions and Law at
the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is professor of both law and history.
He has written numerous books and articles, including The Wars of
Watergate: The Last Crisis of Richard Nixon.
     His work, The American Inquisition, was named the Silver Gavel Best
Book by the American Bar Association in 1983. His current research is on
the Supreme Court appointment process.
     A member of Phi Beta Kappa and numerous professional and scholarly
organizations, Kutler has lectured widely throughout the world. He is a
Guggenheim Fellow, a Fulbright Lecturer and a Rockefeller Humanities
Fellow.
     The University of Delaware Library Associates is a group working to
expand and enrich the research collections of the University of Delaware
Library through gifts from individual members, funds raised by the group's
programs and donations of significant books. Membership is available by
making a tax-deductible donation in cash or an equivalent gift of books or
other materials needed by the library.
     Cost of the dinner is $42 per person.
