Tickets for NAC tournament to go on sale Friday morning
Tickets for the 1992 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's
Basketball Tournament quarterfinal game Saturday, March 7, to be
hosted by the University of Delaware, will go on sale Friday
morning, Feb. 28, at the Delaware Field House ticket office.
Delaware, winner of the league's regular season title, will
host a quarterfinal game on Saturday, March 7, at 1:30 p.m. Should
the Hens win, they will continue to host the semifinal game, slated
for 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 9, and the title game, Wednesday,
March 11, also scheduled at 7:30 p.m.
ESPN will telecast the title game live, nationally, with the
game's winner advancing to the National Collegiate Athletic
Association (NCAA) National Championship Tournament.
Friday, the Field House ticket office will be open from 8:30
a.m.-4:30 p.m. A special NAC ticket sales only line will be
available at a door located on the southside of Delaware Field
House prior to Friday's 7:30 p.m. game against the University of
Maine.
Sales will run from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and for an hour immediately
following the game.
The same site will be available Saturday, when the Hens host
New Hampshire. Hours Saturday will be from 2 - 3 p.m., and again
for an hour immediately following the game, which starts at 3 p.m.
Any tickets remaining will be available Monday in the Field
House ticket office, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The ticket office will be open during lunch on Friday, and
again next week, to handle requests for any remaining tickets and
the 100th anniversary Delaware-Drexel game on Wednesday, March 4,
which will mark the final regularly scheduled game in the building.
Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to claim their
seats through 4:30 p.m., Monday, March 2, with any unclaimed seats
being released for general public sale on March 3.
Ticket prices for the general public are $7. Students with a
U.D. ID (800 available, limit one per student) are $4. For U.D.
staff (two per ID, 250 available) the cost is $4.
Athletic department officials have said they expect to sell
out the remaining three regular season, home games in advance.
