Peter Vagenas, theatre, was elected to a two-year term as chairperson of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology, Chesapeake Section. He was also appointed to the newly formed statistics coordinating group of the Army Research Office, which provides an interface between Army and academic statisticians. Charles E.
