Employee of the week

    Sharon Allen (left), records clerk at the University Bookstore, got
a bonus while working Wednesday, Jan 22. A representative of radio
station WJBR entered the bookstore and named her the station's "employee
of the week."
     "I was shocked," said Allen, who did not know she had been
nominated for the award. "They came into the bookstore and presented me
with a floral arrangement, balloons, prizes and passes for me and nine
others for dinner at PA Woody's in Wilmington."
     Her name was submitted to WJBR by her supervisor, Theresa Maloney
(right).
     "She does such a good job," Maloney said.  "She has such a positive
attitude toward her work.  I thought I would reward her."  -Julie
