James B. O'Neill, economics, received Bessie B. Moore Service Award
at the Joint Council on Economic Education/National Association of

creating field consultant positions to help teachers in elementary
and secondary schools and for helping to establish the master of
instruction in economic education degree at the University.

Gordon DiRenzo, sociology, named one of 38 educators to participate
in C-SPAN's winter seminar for professors in Washington, D.C., Jan.

Linda Cofran, purchasing, received the Civic Ambassador Award from

Carolyn K. Manning, nutrition and dietetics, was elected to a

Bonnie Meszaros, Center for Economic Education, received the DuPont
Co. Environmental Respect Award for her contributions to the Solid
Waste Management Curriculum, an instructional package for grades

Paul Sestak, textiles, design and consumer economics, was
