Pre-proposals due
     Copies of the Sea Grant College Program 1993-95 Request for
Proposals are available.
     Individuals interested in obtaining a copy may stop by the Sea
Grant Communications Office at 263 East Main St. in Newark or the
Delaware Sea Grant Office in room 111 Robinson Hall.
     Pre-proposals (not final proposals, as was earlier reported)
must be submitted by Feb. 14.

Ballroom dancing
     A series of six ballroom dance classes will be offered on
Sundays, beginning Feb. 16.
     The schedule includes jitterbug at 5 p.m., Latin American at
6 p.m., beginning ballroom at 7 p.m. and line dances at 8 p.m. All
classes will be held in the Carpenter Sports Building,  taught by
Bryan Morris of Brad Morris Dance Productions.
     There is no charge for U.D. students. Charge for others is $25
per person, per class.
     Pre-registration, in room 101A of the Carpenter Sports

UD vehicles for sale
     Two University vehicles are being sold and bids should be
submitted to the Purchasing Department by 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan.
29.
     *    1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Station Wagon, 85,522 miles.
Complete maintenance history available. Interested bidders should
contact Don Redmond, Public Safety, at 831-2478 for details. The
best bid over $2,200 will be considered.
     *    1984 Ford Escort Wagon, 90,000 miles, automatic
transmission, good tires, needs repair. Interested bidders should
contact Linda Cofran, Purchasing, at 831-8292 for details. The best
bid over $100 will be considered.

Washington shuttle
     Shuttle trips to the Library of Congress and the Folger Museum
in Washington, D.C., will run each Thursday, through June 18
(excluding April 2).
     The service is available to faculty and graduate students
only.
     To make advance reservations, call Victoria Gray, by noon on
Wednesday, at 831-2361.

Valentine's Day gifts
     The Resident Student Association (RSA), in conjunction with
Popcorn Connection, is selling gourmet popcorn in decorator tins
for Valentine's Day through Jan. 31.
     Prices range from $7 -$20, and five flavors are being offered.

Perkins Student Center at 831-2773.

Savin service direct
     Effective Jan. 2, all departments or offices owning Savin
copiers, purchased through the University from the Savin Corp. from
1986 through 1989, will receive maintenance service directly from
ITS-Better Image Co. of Newark, a local Savin dealer.
     Users should call 655-4998 for copier service.
     Billing procedures for copier maintenance costs will not
change. Unopened supplies may be returned to Central Stores for
credit.
