Commencement ticket deadline

     Attention January graduates! You have one more day, until Dec.
20, to get tickets for Winter Commencement. Each graduate is
entitled to five tickets, and these may be picked up in 109
Hullihen Hall. Any tickets remaining after Dec. 20 will be
distributed to those on the waiting list.
     The 1992 Winter Commencement will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday,
Jan. 4, in the Delaware Field House.
     Traditionally, a distinguished graduate of the University of
Delaware is selected to deliver the Winter Commencement address.
This year, the speaker will be Paula L. Gavin, who is president of
the YMCA of Greater New York, the largest in the world, with 36
branches and operating units in New York City, including three
camps and a conference center in upstate New York.
     Garvin serves on the board of directors of the New York Urban
Coalition and was selected for the National YWCA Academy of Women
Achievers in 1983.
