Clinical agencies honored for service

     At a November reception celebrating the 25th anniversary of
the College of Nursing, Dean Edith Anderson presented plaques to
clinical agencies that have participated in nursing education for
Delaware students. Shown at the ceremony are (from left) Richard
Cherrin, president and chief executive officer, Visiting Nurse
Association of Delaware; Maggie Holmes, chief of nurses, Veterans
Administration Hospital, Elsmere; Diane Talarek, senior vice
president, Medical Center of Delaware; Anderson; Shirlee Kittleman,
administrator, Department of Public Health Nursing; and Mary Lou
Kaufman, director of nursing, Delaware State Hospital.
     Other agencies honored at the Goodstay Center reception for
contributions to nursing education were the Alfred I. du Pont
Institute, Harford Memorial Hospital, Methodist Country House,
Newark Senior Center, Rockford Center, St. Francis Hospital, Union
Hospital and Veterans Administration Medical Center, Perry Point,
Md.
