Help available to create special lists

     EMC2 public mailing lists are used to distribute electronic
mail to collections of people with common interests. Public mailing
lists contain valid electronic mail addresses on University
computers or other computers connected to the Internet and Bitnet
networks.
     Public mailing lists are useful when a majority of the members
on the list have electronic mail addresses. And electronic mail
addresses may be assigned to University employees not using campus
computers. Their mail will be routed to a printer and delivered by
Campus Mail Service.
     To set up an EMC2 public mailing list, send Joy.Lynam@MVS a
mail message with the name of your public mailing list, sponsor,
sponsor department and a brief description of the list.
     The list will be defined for you and your sponsor will add
members' names and keep the list up-to-date.
