Visitor's parking open in evenings

Students are are reminded to take advantage of evening parking
in the campus visitors' lots. The two parking areas are located on
South College Avenue, across from Morris Library, and on Academy
Street, next to Penny Hall.
There is a reduced charge of 50 cents per night, beginning at
6 p.m. The Nov. 21 issue of UpDate mistakenly said the parking was
free to students.
The lots will have attendants on duty until 10:30 p.m.,
weekdays, to provide additional security for the areas. The parking
fee of 50 cents must be exact change-two quarters-after 10:30 p.m.,
to activate the gates at these lots.
According to Douglas Tuttle, director of public safety,
individuals with valid University parking permits are able to park
evenings at no charge in the conveniently located, gated lots on
Amstel Avenue, off Hullihen Hall Circle and south of Morris
Library.
