Employee Training and Development

     This Employee Development insert is designed to inform
employees about the accomplishments and planned enhancements to
professional career development opportunities at the University. In
addition, training and development programs offered by units in the
Office of Employee Relations for January, February and March are
listed. The insert contains the newly approved professional career
opportunities policy, information regarding the Career Resource
Center, and comments from several colleagues about their
experiences developing professional skills outside of their normal
job responsibilities.
     The spring insert, in a February issue of Update, will feature
salaried staff career development opportunities and announce
training and development programs for March, April and May.
