Art History Club tour
The University's Art History Club will conduct a trip to the
Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts, Saturday, Nov. 8.
Cost is $5. The bus will leave Old College at 9 a.m. and
return to Newark at 5 p.m.

Computer symposium
The 12th annual Symposium on Small Computers in the Arts will
be held Nov. 15-17 at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
The theme of the conference is "Interactivity." Panel
discussions, presentations and demonstrations are scheduled. For

Top alumni sought
The University Alumni Association Awards Committee is seeking
nominations for its Alumni Wall of Fame and for Outstanding Alumni
Awards.
The primary criteria for the Wall of Fame is achievement and
outstanding contributions to one's individual's profession.
Photographs of those selected are displayed in the Alumni Room in
the Perkins Student Center. Those honored include several signers
of the Declaration of Independence, an astronaut, U.S. senators and
congressmen, as well as leaders in business, education, religion,
medicine, industry, athletics and the arts.
A smaller version of the Alumni Wall of Fame is on display
outside the Office of Admissions in Hullihen Hall. New members are
inducted each year at a special ceremony and dinner.
The Outstanding Alumni Awards recognize extraordinary
volunteer service to the University and/or the Alumni Association.
A male and a female recipient are announced each year and
recognized at a dinner for alumni volunteers and student leaders.
Deadline for submission to the Office of Alumni Relations is
Nov. 27. A statement about the nominee's qualifications should
accompany each recommendation.

Ray Street open house
An open house will be held in building C of the Ray Street
Residence Halls from 2-5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15.
Members of the campus community are welcome to enjoy a tour of
the new facilities and speak to representatives from the special
interest housing communities.

Housing and Residence Life, at 451-1201 or 451-2180 by Nov. 11, to
make a reservation.
