Conserving water is everyone's job!
Delaware Gov. Ruth Ann Minner declared a drought emergency in northern Delaware on Aug. 2, 2002, and imposed mandatory restrictions on water use.
The University of Delaware urges all members of its community to take steps to voluntarily conserve water. Individual support of this effort is vital!
The University has implemented a variety of water-saving efforts across the campus, including installation of more efficient front-load washing machines in campus residence halls, low-flow toilets and showerheads, as well as reducing irrigation and using non-drinking water for what irrigation has to be done.
You can help save water every day in many easy ways.
Most importantly, promptly report any leaks to 831-1141 for repair.
