Now, instead of standing in line, UD students, faculty and staff can go online to get their parking permits. Web users at UD can visit [www.udel. edu/permits] to purchase parking permits for the 2002-2003 year.

By visiting the site, individuals can read the registration information, and, by using the express link at the bottom of the page, log in and begin to follow a series of on-screen instructions.

Users who think they may purchase a different vehicle after registering online may register any family vehicle and then update their web registration to reflect the new purchase before Aug. 1. For vehicles purchased after Aug. 1, users should contact Parking Services by
e-mail at [parking@udel.edu] and supplying the appropriate information.

Parking Services recommends that students living on campus purchase permits for the full academic year to get spots in the closest available lots and to be placed in the queue for even closer lots as they become available.

Lot availability is limited by the time of spring registration (mid-November), with most of the new lot assignments at that time issued for lots 1 and 88, both located near Delaware Field House.

Students planning to live on campus next year do not need to know their residence hall assignment in order to register for a permit.
