Visitors to the Ag Day festivities will also want to stop by the 10th annual UD Botanic Gardens Plant Sale, from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., near the Fischer Greenhouse, behind Townsend Hall.

Featured in the March special gardening edition of Martha Stewart Living, the event, which funds student horticultural internships and other educational and research programs, features a variety of plants not sold at local nurseries.

This year's featured plant is the abelia, a fragrant flowering shrub that blooms throughout the summer, while the featured perennial, penstemon, commonly called "bearded tongue," will be available in a several vibrant colors, including pink, blue, purple and white.
