Relay for Life at UD April 19

UD will serve as host to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, beginning at 5 p.m., Friday, April 19, in Delaware Field House. This event continues overnight, as teams of volunteers participate in a relay around the Delaware Field House track.

The objective is for each team to keep one member jogging, walking or running laps. In addition, each team member is responsible to raise a $100 donation for the American Cancer Society.

Members of the UD community are encouraged to attend the event and cheer on the participants. The early registration deadline for participants is March 26. There are still openings for eight- to 15-member teams and for individuals interested in joining an existing team.
