The Bach's Lunch series of musical performances continues this spring with programs from 12:10-12:50 p.m., on selected Wednesdays, in the Jefferson Music Gallery of Bayard Sharp Hall.
Upcoming concerts include
- TRIO ACCORDO, a dynamic group of international concert artists made up of Department of Music faculty performing the Piano Trio in C Major, Opus 87 by Johannes Brahms, April 10;
- THE UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE RECORDER CONSORT presenting Renaissance, Baroque and modern music for recorders, April 17;
- Students from the OPERA MASTER CLASS performing opera arias and duets, April 24;
- MUSIC FOR MANY HORNS, featuring members of the horn studio, under the direction of Cynthia Carr, associate professor of music, presenting music from the Baroque through the modern era for horn ensemble and horn with organ, May 1;
- PHILIP DOUCETTE AND AUGUSTINE MERCANTE, performing a Benjamin Britten masterpiece, the rarely heard Canticle II: Abraham and Isaac, May 8; and
- THE ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF STUDENTS, featuring instrumental and vocal students from the music department, May 15.
