UDARF ANNOUNCES SPRING EVENTS

The University of Delaware Association for Retired Faculty has two events planned for March and April.

A luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, at Clayton Hall. Marge McDermott, assistant director of Facilities Planning and Construction, will speak on "Campus Planning and Planning for the U.S. Capitol Campus." The deadline for reservations is Monday, Feb. 25. The luncheon cost is $10, and checks, payable to the University of Delaware, should be sent to UDARF, c/o Human Resources, 413 Academy St., Newark, DE. Those needing a ride may call Dorothy Moser at 368-4808.

A tour of the College of Marine Studies complex in Lewes is planned for April 2. Buses will depart from the Newark campus at 1 p.m. and arrive at Lewes for a 3 p.m. tour, which will last for approximately 1-1/2 hours. On the return trip, there will be a stop at a local restaurant for dinner, and the bus will return to Newark about 8:30 p.m.

Reservations are limited to 47 persons, and the cost for the bus trip will be determined by the number of persons participating. For reservations, call Moser or sign up at the March 5 luncheon.
