Schiavelli steps down

Mel Schiavelli, University provost, has decided not to return to UD after his current leave of absence ends Aug. 15.

After 23 years working in University administration, including more than seven years at UD, Schiavelli said he has decided to consider other employment opportunities.

President David P. Roselle thanked Schiavelli for his "many contributions to the successes of the University of Delaware."
