LIBRARY TO OFFER LUNCH SERIES THIS WINTER
Three presentations are scheduled this winter as part of the current 2001-02 Scholar in the Library Series, scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. in the Morris Library's Class of 1941 Lecture Room.
Scheduled are: "Searching for Servants and Convicts in the Library: An Economist's Exploration," by Farley Grubb, professor of economics, on Wednesday, Jan. 30;
"Adventures in Steamboat Explosions," by John Brockmann, professor of English, on Tuesday, Feb. 12; and
"A Taste of Chocolate," by Sherry Kitto, professor of plant and soil sciences, on Wednesday, March 20.
The series, which is open to members of the University community, is sponsored by the Professional Development Committee of the University of Delaware Library Assembly of Professional Staff (UDLAPS). Brown-bag lunches are welcome at the presentations.
