The University Orchestra directed by Hekun Wu, music, will present a free concert at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.

The program will include the "Adagietto" from Mahler's Fifth Symphony, Haydn's "Surprise" Symphony, No. 94 and Tchaikovsky's "Little Russian" Second Symphony.

Wu, who also teaches cello, received his early musical training from the Shanghai Conservatory and continued his studies at the Conservatoire de Paris, Boston University and the University of Minnesota, where he received his doctorate.
