Melissa Deifer Hicks was one of 14 alumni honored Oct. 12 during Homecoming Weekend with the Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement. The award recognizes distinguished alumni who graduated within the last 20 years and have exhibited great promise in their professional or public service activities.
UD President David P. Roselle welcomed the recipients, their families and friends to the afternoon ceremony in Mitchell Hall. The awards were presented by Robert Davis, vice president of development and alumni relations.
