Cool skating events set in December, January
Mark your calendars now for upcoming cool events at the Rust Ice Arena.
The annual holiday skating party will return from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9. With goodie bags, coupons, special guests and snacks, the event is fun for the whole family.
Admission is $5 per person, and skate rentals are available for $2.
During the holiday season, the ice arena will offer several public skating sessions: 8-10 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21; 1-3 and 8-10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 22-23, and Wednesday through Sunday, Dec. 26-30. In addition, sessions are scheduled 4:30-6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22; 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Dec. 29; 1-3 p.m., Monday, Dec. 31; and 1-4 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 1.
See world-class ice skating as Olympic hopefuls show off their best moves at the Olympic Send-Off Show, scheduled at 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26.
Tickets, which go on sale in December at UD box offices, are $15 for the public and $10 for UD students, senior citizens and children under 12.
