There's a new look this season on the basketball floor in the Bob Carpenter Center, which was sent away to Michigan for repainting to reflect UD's new membership in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and to refurbish it after nine years of use.

The surface was first installed in 1992 after being used for the 1992 NCAA Division I men's basketball Final Four in the Metrodome in Minneapolis.

According to Suzanne Morris, Facilities Planning and Construction, Horner Flooring was the manufacturer. By doing the work offsite, The Bob was able to continue scheduling during the five weeks required for refurbishing and refinishing.
