Disc One, packed with classics by the Toronto-based hit makers, includes the band's chart-topping 1998 single "One Week." Also included are last year's radio hits "Pinch Me" and "Too Little Too Late," the current heavy-rotator "Falling for the First Time," as well as "$1000000," "The Old Apartment," "Brian Wilson," "Jane" and others.
The original plan was to let fans choose the last of the 18 tracks on the album, via VH1.com's web site with access available through the band's web site at [www.bnlmusic.com]. However, the vote resulted in a dead heat between two titles: "Be My Yoko Ono," from the group's debut album Gordon (1992), and "Alternative Girlfriend" from Maybe You Should Drive (1994). Reprise Records and the band agreed to turn Disc One into a 19-track disk and included both tunes.
The new CD also includes two new tracks, "It's Only Me (The Wizard Of Magicland)" and "Thanks That Was Fun," which the Ladies recorded specifically for this project.
