The University of Delaware currently has three study abroad programs in Europe this semester in London, Paris and Granada. The Center for International Studies has been communicating frequently with program directors in all three locations, who, in turn, are in contact with U.S. embassies in their respective locations. CIS staff continue to carefully monitor State Department bulletins and relay information to directors abroad and to UD faculty preparing to direct programs during Winter Session.
At this time, there are no plans to cancel either ongoing or future study abroad programs. If State Department advisories change, plans will be adjusted as appropriate.
Parents with questions or concerns should call Lisa Chieffo or Bill McNabb at the center, telephone 831-2852. Emergency calls after regular business hours should be made to Public Safety at 831-2222, and they will be relayed to center staff.
