Proposals are due Nov. 1 (an extension of the Oct. 15 deadline) for this year's competition for funding for projects on all General Education initiatives endorsed by the Faculty Senate–Freshman Year Experience (LIFE and Pathways), Basic Competencies, Discovery Learning and Capstones [www.udel.edu/facsen/reports/].

This year, the General Education Fund will support two competitions:

• Development of new courses, or substantial transformation of existing courses, to meet the General Education initiative; and
  
  
• Enhancement of existing courses that meet the General Education initiative but which require support for enrichment or other kinds of experiences.
