Warren named head of facilities, John Warren John Warren, a UD employee since 1974, has been named director of Facilities, Custodial and Pest Control Services, effective Dec. 1, according to Robert Stozek, assistant vice president for facilities. During his years at UD, Warren has served as a Dining Services manager, area manager of Housing and Residence Life, and, since 1981, assistant director of Building Services/Facilities Management.? In his new position, Warren is responsible for all academic, residential and conference facilities on the Newark and Wilmington campuses. His unit consists of more than 220 full-time unionized employees, 15 professional staff members, two salaried staff and 10 student workers. "I'm very pleased and thankful for this new assignment," Warren said, "and I am looking forward to the challenges it will bring." "John's years of dedicated service to the University and his management style made us confident he was the person to coordinate, improve, and provide uniform standards of service for the entire University Community," Stozek said. |
