'Review' nets top press award

UD's student newspaper, The Review won kudos at the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP), a division of the National Scholastic Press Association, November conference in Washington, D.C.?

The Review won a prestigious Pacemaker Award, the paper's fifth in nine years, in the non-daily university newspaper category, placing it in the top 10 nationally.

In addition, the online version of The Review received a Pacemaker Award, competing with all university newspapers.

Melissa Scott Sinclair, AS '01, won an honorable mention for her feature on the drug Ecstasy in the ACP Story of the Year category.

A group of approximately 12 students from the UD student newspaper attended the conference.
